Take Advantage of Canberra Toyota Accident Assist When You Need It Most

We know how important your car is to you, and a car accident, no matter how minor, can be a stressful experience. However, Canberra Toyota is here to help you if this should occur.

Canberra Toyota now provides a new, value-added service called Canberra Toyota Accident Assist to ensure that in the unfortunate event of an accident, we will help to put you back on the road as soon as possible. We’ve partnered with Compass Claims, an industry specialist in accident management, to make sure we look after you when you need it most.

How Canberra Toyota Accident Assist Works

If you are not at fault, our Accident Assist Team will provide you with a like-for-like vehicle for the duration of your vehicle repair  with no upfront cost. These charges are then recovered by Compass Claims directly from the at-fault person’s insurance company*.

If you are at fault, our team can provide a vehicle to you at a preferential rate, or if you have rental cover in your policy, we can recover the costs direct from your insurer on your behalf*.

What to do if you’re involved in an  accident

Simply call our Accident Assist Team on 1300 135 485. Your call will be answered by a trained professional who will take your details and arrange a tow truck to collect your vehicle.

Our Accident Assist Team will:

  • Liaise with your insurance and have you back in your vehicle as soon as possible
  • Organise repairs with a reputable smash repairer
  • Monitor your repair period and advise when it has been finalised.
  • If your car is not road worthy we can arrange delivery of the vehicle to the smash repairer, your place of work or your home.
  • Organise a replacement vehicle while your vehicle is repaired

Our team are available to take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week^ and will guide you through the process. We know how frustrating it can be at times like these so we want to make sure you experience minimal inconvenience during the repair period.

A couple of weeks before my accident I saw an email come into my inbox from Canberra Toyota alerting me to their accident assistance scheme. I didn't have time to read the email at the time but somehow it stayed in my memory...
